// browser-based generator

Make a QR code that actually scans.

Type it, style it, download it. Encode links, Wi-Fi, email, SMS and contact details into crisp, high-resolution QR codes. Everything runs locally in your browser — your data never leaves this page.

QR codes, without the catch.

No watermark, no expiry, no account. The codes you build here are static and yours forever — print them, embed them, ship them on packaging that outlives this website.

01

Everything stays on your device

Generation happens entirely in your browser. Nothing you type — passwords, contacts, URLs — is ever uploaded or stored on a server.

02

Print-ready exports

Download lossless SVG for signage and large format, or sharp PNG up to 4096 px for digital use. Vectors scale to any size without blur.

03

Built to scan

Adjustable error correction and quiet-zone margins keep codes readable even when colored, resized, or partially obscured by a logo or fold.

Pick the right QR code for the job

Each format below has its own payload rules and pitfalls. These guides explain the format and deep-link straight into the right preset.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes ever expire?

No. These are static QR codes — the data is encoded directly into the pattern. There's no redirect server in the middle, so the code keeps working forever, with no subscription. The trade-off: the destination can't be edited later. If you need to change where a code points after printing, that's what dynamic QR codes are for.

Why did my colored code stop scanning?

Scanners need strong contrast between the dots and the background, and a clear margin around the edge. Keep the dots noticeably darker than the background, avoid inverting (light dots on a dark background fails on many readers), and bump the error-correction level to Q or H if you're tinting or adding a logo.

PNG or SVG — which should I download?

Use SVG for anything printed or resized: it's a vector, so it stays razor-sharp at any scale. Use PNG when you need a simple image file for a slide, a web page, or a social post. See PNG vs SVG for the full breakdown.

Is the Wi-Fi option safe to use?

Yes. The network name and password are encoded locally on your device and never transmitted. Anyone who scans the printed code can join the network, so treat the printout like you would the password itself.
